As a passionate enthusiast of music and creativity, I celebrate the power of artistic expression in all its forms.
How a split actually divides
Set up splitsThis is what a split looks like once four people have agreed it. The shares are set once, when the record goes up. Every sale, stream and licence after that arrives already divided.
The shares are the contract. Changing one needs every member to agree, which is why editing a split is an app action and not a web form.
Open collaborations
Answering puts your name on the roster, not on a contract. Shares are a separate, signed agreement — agree them in Splits & contracts before the first release, not after the first payment.
What a roster gets you
You can put yourself on a roster; you can't put anyone else on one. Answer a call above and you're on it, you can change what you're down as, and you can leave the same way. Taking somebody else off is nobody's to do — they leave. The signed agreement that decides what anyone is paid stays in the app.
