Problem:
When you Google something, you can’t just ask, “Where is the closest bass player to me?” or “I can’t find a backup singer near me,” or tell the AI, “I need an assistant engineer,” or “I need a promoter.” We need someone who knows the industry.
Problem 2:
Nobody is actually working together to create a platform where we can support each other within our community. People meet like-minded individuals but are always pushing their own agendas and platforms, not working on a unified solution. We’re stranded on our own little desert islands, each shouting, “Hey! Listen to my music!” while the other replies, “No, you listen to my music!” We have no way to join forces and navigate the music industry together.
Let’s dive deeper. On Apple Music and Spotify, you have everything, but it’s a saturated market with minimal financial returns. Nobody is working together to build a truly collaborative platform. Despite all the podcasts and meetings with great people, everyone is focused on their own platforms and brands, lacking inclusivity. The problem is that there isn’t a unified platform for everyone.
That’s why we created Epirus, a local music hub tailored for you and your community. Epirus was made by music people for music people. We are planning to features multiple sides of the music industry including artists and their platforms, with the appropriate technology required to do so.

Apple Music and Spotify lead the streaming world, hosting artists’ music and paying them fractions of a cent for digital performances. The CEO of Spotify admitted it costs them practically nothing to host an artist, yet they charge listeners for premium accounts and rake in billions. This saturation issue extends beyond streaming. It’s like scanning Netflix for so long that you no longer want to watch anything. This overload and monopolized traffic problem affects the entire music industry. Money has always corrupted and exploited the music industry, and we all know it.
